the tall city detailing team starts the paint correction process following a wash by prepping each panel before we use an polishers or buffer correct the paint work.
correct & polish panels
once a panel has been prepped and taped. we will apply a 1 step - 2 step paint correction and following a polish. This process can be used to buff out scratches, clear up paint, enhance gloss, oxidation, dead paint, heavy & light swirling, water spots, staining caused from acid.
apply our ceramic coating
- upon finishing paint correct we will apply ceramic coating if you have chosen that service
- our ceramic coating goes on your Carfax, and comes with a warranty which ranges from 3-8+ years.
- Ceramic coatings protect your clear coat from heavy mineral spots, staining, acid, bird crap, add gloss and brighten color by 40-60%, protect from uv rays, oxidation on gel coat, also allows for that iconic water beading effect, washing & drying becomes super easy. All these benefits will last you for 3-10+ years.
- 1 week after completing the ceramic coating we will wash it for free! This is to show you the client the effects of the coating. confirm the coating was applied correctly for insurance and warranty. Show the client the correct and safe way to wash their car, or allow them to join our maintenance program.

The RV above is a 40ft keystone Montana. It was covered in water spots from being down in Houston. Our team spent 80 hours polishing, claybaring, etc to perfect the paint. After paint correction we applied our signature ceramic coating which will last this client 8-10 years. It recently arrived from Florida where it had been rained on every day for 3 months. we washed it and found no water spots. lets just say this 2024 Montana keystone will stay looking brand new for the years to come.

CERAMIC COATING for boats & rv
This process is similar to our ceramic coating process for cars, but boats/RV have gel coating. Gel coating is more pores than normal coating, and therefore its harder to paint correct and its hard to say exactly what you'll need. depending on if we are removing orange peel, oxidation, or water spots. The process can range from a light polish to wet sanding and a 2 step paint correction for dead paint on boats.
